| Boynton’s Feathertop Winery has a fantastic team environment. With an intimate indoor team of nine and a permanent outdoor team of three all members strive to work together by multitasking through many of our wineries disciplines.
If you are coming through our Cellar Door you will most likely meet Rose, Peter, Scott or Mary. Our knowledgeable and educated team members have kindly taken the time to indulge in numerous wine tastings ensuring we have our product up-to-scratch and all the tasting notes are accurate.
Rose, Scott and Mary are our Wine Club experts. With four deliveries a year our team have their work cut out for them. Our Boynton’s Feathertop Wine Club is at the heart of our winery, our members are integral to Boynton’s and the development of our product. With special releases including small parcels or Temprenillo and Sangiovese Scott has his work cut out for him putting all the Wine Club cases together.
Janelle, Jodie and Kate work in the upstairs office. Jodie works with primarily with the Boynton’s finances, and local and national sales. Kate is in the field of marketing and project management. Together when you’re phoning through to Boynton’s Feathertop Winery you’re bound to talk to one of them. Janelle is our all encompassing business manager who in-between working in her architectural business, being chairperson of North East Valleys Food and Wine and holding a position on the Victorian Tourism Board she finds the time to run the indoor office at Boynton’s.
Shaun and Nat work together in our café. Nat multitasks both waitresses and working in our Cellar Door. Shaun is the Boynton’s in house chef, he creates his sensational a-la-carte dishes using local produce which are seasonality influenced. A treat to enjoy, select one of Shaun’s favourites to accompany with a glass or two while visiting the region.
Our outdoor staff consists of Kel, Nick and Geoff. Kel, our head wine maker and viticulturalist, works closely with Nick, Boynton’s vitaculturalist, and Geoff whom has his day filled by helping Kel and pruning with Nick and his team, to harvest, blend and bottle the Feathertop Wine. The boys have their work cut out for them managing 50 acres of vines and responsible for over 10,000 cases of wine.
A close team, the Boynton’s Feathertop staff work together to bring to you the Boynton’s Feathertop product seven days a week.
