Riesling - Boyntons Winery

Riesling 2010 The 2010 Riesling is somewhat lighter and livelier than the '09 showing an elegant rose petal and citrus blossom bouquet. The flavours are crisp with what I see as refreshing lime and lychees. The palate follows as being really well balanced, light, dry and long. It is a gorgeous wine that absolutely reinforces my belief in this wonderful variety. Region: Alpine Valleys, North East Victoria Aroma: Lemons, limes, rose petals & an unknown spice. Palate: Long and dry with citrus flavours and a richness not common to Rieslings. Analysis: Alc: 13.5% pH: 3.12 TA 6.0 g/L Recommended Cellaring: Cellar up to seven years. Serving Suggestion: Funnily enough it actually goes particularly well with very mature cheddar or parmesan but we at Boyntons are happy to drink it whenever we get the chance. Back
